Options and Features

Water Control Operations

  1. Hot water faucet controls hot water coming into tub through faucet and showerhead.
  2. Cold water faucet controls the cold water entering the tub through faucet and showerhead.
  3. Diverter allows you to choose whether water comes out of the tub spout or the showerhead.
  4. Spout used to fill the tub to desired water level.
  5. Extendable showerhead allows for easy shower use while remaining comfortably seated.

Control Buttons

  1. Button One: Turns the water jets and Tee heater on and off.
  2. Button Two: Turns on air jet system. 1st Press: The blower starts at maximum speed. 2nd Press: The blower starts at medium speed. 3rd Press: The blower turns to minimum speed. 4th Press: The blower stops.

Note: If you do not have a dual system you will only have (1) button on your unit.

Door Operations

Door Lock The lock ensures that the door remains closed at all times, providing a water tight seal.

Tee Heater

A water jetted tub will keep the water temperature at a constant level throughout your entire bath session to ensure safety and comfort

Motor Pump Assembly

Grab Bar

To provide you with a sense of safety and security Universal Tubs offers a safety grab bar as a standard feature. Our inside safety grab bar assists you in getting in and out of the walk in bathtub with ease. This support rail can offer assistance for a wide range of user needs including transfers and rising from the seat.

Hydro Massage Opeation

The hydrotherapy system is simply accessed by the control button or buttons, which are located within arms reach. In order for the system to operate correctly, water must be filled above the jets.

Extension Panel Kit

An extension panel kit is included to assist in the installation process with each of our fiberglass walk in tubs, except the 3060, 3238 and the step in tub. This allows any of our tub models to fit into a standard 60" tub stall. The panel installs quickly and will eliminate the gap between our tub and the wall. The extension panel shelf can be used to hold soaps, shampoos, toiletries and other bathing accessories.
